The Tahoe region is a great community of like minded folk, looking to spread awareness of issues like the one your are presenting, also we are linked to a farming community down in Reno, NV. I was looking to help spread the awareness and make sure everyone knows of the upcoming election and how it is going to affect us. Please point me in the right direction as to how could build a street team for our area. Thanks

I have just started an Arizona Initiative Committee for “Mandatory Labelling of GMO foods” as well. I am hoping to contact the people who assisted in drafting the “CALIFORNIA RIGHT TO KNOW GENETICALLY

    ENGINEERED FOOD ACT

This is a great Org! Keep up the great work! Please make available a way to sign the petition online. I have done this many times before and it works great. Please email me when the online petition is available so I can sign it. I see many people have already left comments requesting the same thing. When the online petition is available it is most effective to have a big “SIGN NOW” button at one of the first things people see when they get to your webpage, facebook, etc. Often people will sign the petition only if it takes less than 1minute of their time; after that they lose interest. I know that is not the commitment level you are hoping for but it is a reality for many citizens today. Online petitions are fast and easy. Thanks and Good luck!

    Hi!

I am not sure if this is helpful or not – but I just came across this website:

    http://www.change.org/start-a-petition

and it looks like it could be useful as an online signature collection. Do you think it could work?

Thank you! I signed today at market. On Tuesday March 6, 6:15 pm is a meeting of http://news@theconservativeforum.com/contact.htm. Please contact the President to ask for a table to set up with petitions, and even a few minutes to present the importance of this initiative on stage at the beginning of the meeting. We meet in Mt. View and it’s quite a large group – and this is an important health issue. We’ve had many varied petitions in the past. Bring extra petitions to pass out, too; I’ll take some. Hope to see you there!

I’m a trained volunteer, however, have been away from home. Would like to start gathering signatures immediately. I need petition forms; where can I locate them? I’m currently at 90640 (Montebello).

I live in North Carolina and want to know how we can start the Non-Gmo movement in my state! I am very concerned for the future of our food. I am a breast cancer survivor at age 36 and a mother of 2 young boys and I feel very strongly about the safety of our food!! What about a coast to coast movement to really make a change!!!!

    Hi,

We are having an event on Monday (2/27) called “Occupy the Food Supply” in San Francisco. It would be great to have one or more signature gatherers at this afternoon-long teach-in and action. Is there any way to make this happen? We will be starting at 101 Market street at noon on Monday.

    thank you,

    Anne

You are being denied tools to help you qualify and win an election. I would like to show you what a petition should look like until they have electronic signatures. I too have collected thousands of signatures as a volunteer. How can they arbitrarily throw out 300,000 signatures because the Legislature doesn’t like the process.

I would like to send you information I have developed over the last 40 years. My petition form includes a box to initial for our mailing list and an optional line for email and phone. Do you really want to organize and win?

I also have proposed a 1 signature petition, downloadable, which combines signature and declaration of circulator. Email me and I will reply with attachments supporting my case.

(I met a nice woman named Raven working a table at the Burbank fruit market)

My name is Mathew Johnson and I am the president of the Enviro-Business Society (e3) at San Diego State University. I was contacted by an e3 alumni who informed me on your effort to gain support to label GMOs. I can definitely help collect signatures on campus, I just need someone to drop off the appropriate documents so I can distribute and collect signatures. Please get back to me ASAP, thanks!

I saw your signature gatherer at Trader Joe’s in Aliso Viejo. He needs something like a sign or a poster, to draw people to him and also to make clear what he is doing there. Finally a flyer or something to inform people who are not aware of the issues.

This is so important we don’t want to let the opportunity slip away.

My mother is 84 years old and lives in Santa Rosa, Ca. She is very interested in participating and wants to know where she can go to sign this incredibly important petition. I am a farmer in Colorado and Kauai…Monsanto has already effected my papaya orchard and my mother is like any mother…very protective! Where can she find a place near her…or can she provide a petition-signing location for others? She lives in a senior-homeowners neighborhood.

    This is VERY POORLY designed!

You are disclosing personal information that could endanger jobs and even lives. Are you a real non-GMO organization or another front group?
