A $10 gift: Make someone smile & help the bees by funding education on GMOs

When I started traveling around the state in 2011 for Prop 37 one of the people I met early on was a woman named Mary, from Santa Barbara. She was an early supporter of GMO labeling and was particularly concerned by the plight of the bees.

Mary and her husband have spent more than a year working on a project to raise money for environmental non-profits. It's a new $10 gift idea called a Boxai, which is getting a lot of attention and was just featured on MSNBC TV in their annual review of "Gifts that Give Back."

Mary sent me a Bee Boxai as a gift a couple of weeks ago and it's amazing. Boxai already donates via 1% for the Planet, but Mary contacted me saying they would really like to give more. Specifically she and her husband want to educate people about the dangers of GMOs and intensive pesticide use.

If you are looking for a thoughtful, beautiful, inexpensive gift with a low environmental impact please visit:

At the checkout type in the code: NOGMO
You will get free shipping to anywhere in the US.
The Label GMOs campaign will get a $3 donation for every Bee Boxai purchased with this code.
This offer will end on December 31st.

Here are the edited highlights of what people are saying about their Bee Boxai:

Perfect gift, unique, adorable, wild, exquisite, magical, wow, a steal, amazing, beautiful, creative, awesome, fabulous, adorable, fun, innovative, top notch, crystal clear, a great price, original, a wonderful alternative to conventional greeting cards, impressive, surprising, meaningful, gorgeous, clever, an object of beauty, a new favorite

A Boxai is a box, in a box, in a box.

Twelve amazing images on a theme presented in nesting boxes with a message on a folded Box Spring that pops out of the final box.

Boxai make ideal gifts because:

they are stylish, yet inexpensive (just $10)

the Box Spring is blank on the back, ready for you to add your own personal message

you can write a poem or quote your favorite one

they have space for you to add a "small is beautiful" gift in the last box, if you wish

you can add cash - like a gift voucher, but less restrictive and no expiry date!

(unlike greetings cards) they will not end up in the trash

they are functional art objects that are great for storing small, precious items

Giving a Bee Boxai is a great way to show your appreciation for someone special, raise awareness about what's happening to the bees and at the same time raise funds that will be used to help educate people on the importance of GMO labeling.

GMO issue has made a big noise over the recent years. I wonder whether it was triggered by some investigation that finally resulted in reliable evidence that proves GMO’s impact on humans?
Making people aware through the educational non-profits( as online programs decribed at http://online-degrees.zohosites.com/) is essential but it should be based on reliable evidence.
